Chilches has a relaxed atmosphere, surrounded by nice urbanizations for a tranquil holiday or permanent living. In the village are a bakery, butcher, pharmacy, post office and several bars. For more shopping are the larger towns as Rincon de la Victoria and Torre del Mar nearby.
Just 2000 meters from the village is the beach of Chilches. Two and a half kilometre of sandy beach with fantastic fish restaurants and all facilities as sun beds, umbrellas, showers etc.
