Puerto Banus is located 6 Km west of Marbella in the Málaga province of Andalucia. It is the playground of the rich and famous with delightful restaurants and elegant shops. 
There are no high rises here just gleaming white buildings which contrast with the deep blue sea.

The local views are spectacular and there is something here for everyone. There is a vibrant night life to suit all ages with piano bars, alfresco restaurants, clubs, bars, casinos and discos. Along with Marbella there are many stores offering a wide choice of goods including designer names such as Versace, Armani, Channel and Gucci.

There are also art galleries and a department store El Corte Ingles. If you want bargains there is a Saturday market in the Bullring.

For those interested in sport there are several golf courses: La Quinta which has 27 holes and several 18 hole courses including Los Naranjos, La Brisas and Aloha.

Most of the equipment for water sports such as jet skis and boats can be hired locally. Horse riding, hang gliding and gyms are also available locally. 

Other amenities include an adjacent beach holding a European blue flag, a multi screen cinema complex and a marine observatory. Swimming in the sea can usually be done between April and October when the temperature varies between 20 and 30 degrees.
